If Canada’s national voluntary sector is to be a full player in public policy, then it requires co-ordination, information and assistance.
To help ensure that goal is achieved, the Foundation provides a core funding grant to Imagine Canada.
The Foundation’s current core funding grant will run until 2023. It amounts to $150,000 per year, to be used as Imagine Canada considers appropriate.
During the course of the granting period, the Foundation will review with Imagine Canada its success in a number of areas, including member recruitment and retention and its ability to work with other sectoral and subsectoral organizations.
The Foundation also works with and through Imagine Canada on various policy initiatives, usually at the federal level.
